About
About MeI am absolutely thrilled to be teaching your children! This is my first year teaching 2nd/3rd grade at DMCS and I feel very fortunate to be a part of such a welcoming and innovative community.
I am originally from Rohnert Park, CA. I left my hometown to attend UC Davis where I received my BS in Human Development with a minor in communication. I continued my education at UC Davis, receiving my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and currently working on my Masters in Education. I was fortunate enough to be a student teacher in a 2nd/3rd grade classroom at DMCS, therefore I feel confident in implementing Montessori techniques in my classroom to create a classroom community of independent, responsible, caring and creative learners. My biggest passion in life is helping others, specifically helping students learn to value one another and grow a love for learning. Outside of the classroom I am passionate about staying active and being outdoors! I grew up playing soccer, as well as joined the Women's Rowing team at UC Davis where I competed nationally. I currently enjoy running, hiking and crossfit! |
